Purpose: The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) welcomes, forms and initiates non-Catholics, or Catholics who have not received the sacraments of Holy Eucharist and / or Confirmation, into full communion with the Church. Through discussions, prayer, Bible study, teaching and experience-sharing, the RCIA team shepherds those considering the faith through journeys of inquiry, enlightenment and commitment to the Catholic faith.
Time Commitment: The meeting schedule varies with each RCIA member, as we often must schedule around work commitments. Typically, the meetings will vary from 2-4 per month, most often in the evening
Qualifications: While the core team will facilitate the process, all fully initiated members of the parish community in good standing are invited to join the team in supporting new members through their faith formation process.
