The Becca’s Friends Ministry offers monthly social events for the adult special needs community of St. Josephs and surrounding Hillsborough area since the Spring of 2013.
Adults 18 and older are invited to our social meetings held in the Parish Center or outside the parish depending on the event.
The Becca’s Friends website can be viewed for pictures and past history of this group as well as a calendar of upcoming events.

A sampling of the many socials we have held:
Bingo Night, PJ Anderson Concert, Parish Spaghetti Dinner, cupcake decorating, painting party, evening campfire with s’mores and guitar singing, Halloween Costume and Dance party with Count Graham, Christmas Party dancing and Santa, game nights, Somerset Patriots Box baseball game, bowling night, ice cream social, Montgomery Rodeo.
This social group welcomes new members on two levels:
Parishioners who are the Ministry of Becca’s Friends (who host and organize the group’s activities), and the adults who partake of the social activities.

Special Olympics of New Jersey
To provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual and physical disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
All ages of volunteers help make this program run successfully. To volunteer your time for a variety of jobs both on and off the fields, contact: www.sonj.org
