Purpose: The purpose of The Knights of Columbus is to protect and promote the Catholic faith through education, charity, and service. The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic family fraternal service organization with 1.9 million members. The Knights are Catholic men who lead, serve, protect and defend. Knights share a desire to be better husbands, fathers, sons, neighbors and role models and to put charity and community first.
Time Commitment: Member Knights volunteer for projects of their choosing. Commitments for the wide range of available projects range from 1 to 4 hours on average. The number of projects each month varies. Additionally, members are invited to attend the monthly business meeting and the monthly social meeting. Attendance is encouraged, but not required.
Qualifications: Membership in the Knights of Columbus is open to men 18 years of age or older who are practical (that is, practicing) Catholics in union with the Holy See (the Pope).
Virtus Training & Background Check: Required if the activity involves youth and/or vulnerable adults
