The Columbiettes, an organization of Catholic women dedicated to our Patronesses, Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Theresa the Little Flower and St. Joan of Arc, are comprised of affiliated Auxiliaries of the Knights of Columbus Councils.

Purpose: The purpose of The Columbiettes is to promote the spiritual, social and charitable welfare of others.  We dedicate ourselves to do God’s work on Earth promoting unity, Christ’s love for each of us, and zeal to serve God through Faith, Hope & Charity.  Columbiettes instill a steadfast conviction relating to the proper place and function of Catholic women by loving and aiding all members of the human family and give assistance to the Knights of Columbus in all their activities upon request.

Time Commitment: Members volunteer for projects of their choosing. Commitments for the wide range of available projects range from 1 to 4 hours on average.  The number of projects each month varies. Additionally, members are invited to attend the monthly business meetings and occasional social functions. Attendance is encouraged, but not required.

Qualifications: Membership in the Columbiettes is open to Catholic women 18 years of age or older who are in good standing with the Church.  Columbiettes do not have to be related to, married to or a widow of any member of the Knights of Columbus to join the organization.

Virtus Training & Background Check: Required if the activity involves youth and vulnerable adults.
